PrintGreen Schools
Green-Schools is an International environmental education programme, designed to promote and acknowledge whole school action for the environment. The programme offers a well defined, controllable way for schools to take environmental issues into the curriculum and apply them to the day-to-day running of the school. Green Schools is a holistic, long-term programme.
Kilrush Community School is one of 20 schools in county Clare that have been awarded the coveted Green Flag in 2005.
