PrintIBAL – Irish Business Against Litter
An Taisce is commissioned by Irish Business Against Litter to undertake the monitoring of litter in towns and cities throughout the Republic of Ireland under its ‘All Ireland Anti-Litter League’ campaign.
Kilrush was selected as a town to be surveyed in this campaign in 2002 and 2003 and in both years achieved the highest standard of ‘Clean to European Norms’.
Kilrush has not been monitored as part of this campaign since 2003, but does retain its litter free status. Kilrush would welcome the challenge of being monitored in the 2007 Irish Business Against Litter campaign.
