PrintKilrush Tri3 Series 2010

The Tri3 triathlon series will take place on September 4th in Kilrush and will see up to 500 participants and their supporters, families and well wishers converge on Kilrush town.
The Swim
The swim will have everything you need, its an open sea swim with the added bonus of no waves, no tide and no current as the swim will be held in the beautiful Kilrush Marina which has gates which closes out the elements so 750 metres really means 750 metres.
The Cycle
The 20 km bike route is set in the beautiful rolling countryside, the route makes a snak like trip around Cappa and out to Killimer and makes its way back into Kilrush where the Square will be closed so speeding will not be an issue.
The Run
The 5 km run has the best of both worlds the first 2.5 km will take you through the quiet countryside before you return into the town and pound the streets of Kilrush into the Square and down Frances Street towards the finish line close to the Marina.
